| Event Photographer
|
A band parent, with an inclination for photography, takes candid digital photos of performances, award presentations and volunteers. Photos will be loaded onto the Band Booster web site.

|
Any EMTs,nurses, doctors… out there? Needed: Band parents that are also nurses, EMT's, doctors... to provide medical treatment to our injured or ill guests. Located in the stadium training room.

| Judges' Hospitality
|
Provides a private room & food (from booster donations) for the judges. Located on the top floor of the stadium press box. Great view!! Elevator equipped.

| Judges' Transportation
|
Transports judges (approx.
6) from the Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport to FCHS prior to the competition and
from FCHS to hotel after the contest.

|
Directs spectator & competing unit vehicles to their appropriate parking areas.

| Pedestrian Traffic Flow
|
Keeps stadium/bleacher aisles and judging areas clear during performances.

| People's Choice Award
|
New in 2010! Guests can cast their votes, with spare change and folding money, for their favorite band! Your task will be to man the voting booth (decorated table & 2 liter bottles). The votes will be tallied. At the award ceremony, a prize (TBD) will be given to the Class A/B and Class C/D band with the most votes.

| Performer Exit
|
Coordinates the flow of post performance units and guests headed to the Visitors side bleachers. Prior to the award ceremony, lines up the unit captains in performance order. Located at the southeast performance area gate.

|
Uses Microsoft Word to create the contest program, which will be sold to our spectators. Orders and picks up programs from printers. Coordinates with Dan Fyffe, Band Booster President, Publicity and Sponsor/Advertiser Recruiter volunteers.

Contacts individuals and businesses regarding financial and/or product support of the Franklin Township Band. Coordinates with Booster President, Publicity and Program Creator.

| Score Tabulation
|
Uses the provided computer program to tabulate the judges’ scores. Located on the lower level of the stadium press box. Elevator equipped.
|
|
| Security
|
Uniformed law enforcement officers, that are also band parents, monitor for safety concerns. Transports cash pick ups to Accounting volunteers.

| Staging Area
|
Directs units into the performance area.
|
|
| Unit Check-In
|
Provides competing units with
wristbands and info. packets. Answers questions. Matches competing units with their
contest guides.

|
| Videographer of Competing Units
|
Records unit performances onto a disc which is then included in the
post-performance director’s packet with the judges’ score sheets. |
|
| Warm Up
|
Oversees that each unit is provided the allotted amount of time to prepare for their performance. There will be two warm-up areas at each contest. Both areas will be located on the east side of FCHS.

|
| Water Stations
|
Provides cups (donated) of cold water to the fall invitational performers
and their entourage. There are usually three water stations.
|

| Wristband & Program Sales
|
Sells wristband and programs from the stadium ticket booths to our guests.
